INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS
Presentation slides (Oral and Symposia)
Oral presentation should be in MS Power Point (PPT or PPTX) or PDF, 16:9 aspect ratio. Please follow these instructions:
- Use standard Windows fonts only; avoid use of non-standard Windows fonts or language-specific fonts.
- Images: Do not copy and paste images from another application; please use the “insert image from a file” functionality from PowerPoint (format JPG or PNG).
- Video: MP4 or AVI are the only acceptable video formats. Video must be embedded in the presentation, and not externally linked. Please save the link to the video in case of issues with the presentation.
- To avoid any issues with movies and loops with PowerPoint, presentations should be saved as .pptx or .ppt files and submitted directly at the venue.
- Check your presentation on a Windows-operated computer before you upload
To increase accessibility and readability s, we recommend:
- Left-aligned text
- Sans-serif fonts e.g., Verdana, Arial, Calibri
- 24 pt minimum font size
- Increased line spacing
- Bold for emphasis
- Avoid italics
- High-contrast colour combinations (e.g., dark text on a light background)
- Colourblind-friendly palettes
All files must be submitted directly to the computer in the room where your scheduled talk is held. Speakers can not use their laptops. Presentations can be uploaded via USB or downloaded from the web.
Oral presentations
Duration: 13 minutes (Presentation) + 3 minutes (Questions & Answers).
Speakers are required to upload and test their presentation before their oral session begins (e.g. before Keynote lecture, during lunch break). Please check the program to find out when you can access your lecture hall.
Presenter view Mode is not allowed when presenting: personal notes will not be visible. Therefore, speakers are reminded to bring their notes if needed.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your session begins.
Symposia
Duration: 90 minutes (Presentation + Questions & Answers).
The Symposium Chair is responsible for organising their symposium e.g., introductory remarks, format, Q&A, making sure it is within the total time limit.
Symposium Chairs are required to upload and test all presentations before their symposium begins (e.g. before Keynote lecture, during lunch break). Please check the program to find out when you can access your lecture hall.

Posters
Maximum size allowed is A0 (width 841 × length 1189 mm). Use portrait (vertical) orientation.

The posters can be hung in the assigned panels starting from the morning of your presentation day and removed at the end of the conference day to allow the next presenters to hang their posters. If not removed by the authors before the next day, posters will be disposed of by the staff.
Presenting authors are encouraged to stand by their poster during their entire poster sessions in order to present their research and engage with interested attendees.
